Spotlight Condominiums
222 Glenwood is located in the Glenwood South section of downtown. This building was completed in 2008 and has 117 units. With every unit having its own balcony, along with a parking garage, outdoor pool, fitness room, club room and grilling area, these units have been desirable. It also has 1st floor retail including restaurants and bars. Another perk is the onsite security guard. Prices start in the low $200’s to over $400k. 510 Glenwood was one of the first downtown condo complexes and is located in the Glenwood South section of downtown. There are only 36 units here, but do boast some of the largest balconies in comparison to the other buildings downtown. This building also has a parking garage and 1st floor retail. Bishops Park/Parkridge Lane/Reserve @ Bishop Park/Washington Square: These condos are embedded in Fred Fletcher Park just North of Glenwood South beyond the intersection of Glenwood & Peace St. These buildings were built mainly in the late 1980’s and have lower price ranges, from the mid $150’s to almost $400k. While they are older, many have been renovated. Some of the perks of living here, besides the relatively lower prices in comparison to newer buildings, is that they are a short walk to Cameron Village and Glenwood South; plus the proximity to Fred Fletcher Park. Bloomsbury Estates is located just outside of the Warehouse district on the Western half of downtown Raleigh. Blount Street Commons sits on the edge of Oakwood’s Historic Neighborhood and is in walking distance to downtown proper, as well as Mordecai, 18 Seaboard and Peace College. This 5 block redevelopment project is comprised of individual condo units, as well as a few carriage homes and row homes. These were predominately built since 2014 and have price ranges from the high $200’s to almost $500k. While these units don’t offer true amenities, they do offer the ability to own a larger home so close to downtown, as many of these units are well over 1,500 sq.ft. Cameron Village Condos offer one of the most affordable places to own near downtown and the popular Cameron Village area.
